For theatre bookings you firstly need to find the appropriate page for the show concerned, and click on the “book now” button which will take you to the seating plan. Please make sure you are booking seats in the correct area. The stalls are downstairs and the circle is upstairs, as are the three boxes. When reaching the checkout please make sure to put in your correct details, particularly your email address. Following checkout, an email is sent containing a link to download and print your tickets, These are PDF documents, you will need to have Adobe Reader or similar installed on your computer. You can download it here. They can be recognised by the inclusion of a barcode and should be presented at the box office to gain admittance.
Booking via a PC is straightforward. However, if you book via a smartphone or tablet you will not be able to see a seating plan and will be offered “best available” seats.
Cinema bookings are provided by a third party service (www.movietickets.co.uk) and you cannot make bookings through the box office or on the phone, only on line through the website. You need be sure to choose the correct date you want to buy tickets for and then proceed as directed. You will receive a confirmation which you can bring with you. At the box office you may be asked for the last four digits of the credit card you booked the ticket with.
Please be assured whichever system you use your details will NOT be passed on to third parties.
Please Note: There is a Transaction fee of 50p added to Tickets booked online, Tickets can be collected from the theatre during normal opening times or on the day of the performance by providing your confirmation email or name, postcode & booking reference.

The Savoy has two seating areas – the stalls downstairs and the circle upstairs. Please be careful as to which area you book. We also have three dedicated wheelchair spaces which can only be booked in person or over the phone. Additionally upstairs we have three boxes which accommodate three people each. If you are booking for children’s shows or are accompanied by children, you should avoid booking the front of the circle as the sightlines are awkward for small children (i.e. under 10 year olds).
Food and Drink
The Savoy is fully licensed and you can take drinks into the auditorium to enjoy during he show. The Trust’s policy is to charge reasonable prices and to source as much food and drink as possible from local suppliers. The retailing of alcohol and confectionery is an important part of the Savoy’s business plan and for that reason we ask audiences only to consume food and drink that is sold on the premises.
The Savoy situated at the top of the town in Church Street close to St Mary’s Church at the corner of St Mary’s Street and Whitecross Street. The postcode for Sat Nav purposes is NP25 3BU. All parking restrictions in Monmouth are lifted after 5.00pm. Prior to that, extended parking is available in Glendower Street car park close to the Blake Theatre
Wheelchair Access – The Savoy has wheelchair access via the Bell Lane entry point. Please note that the circle is not available to wheelchair users.
